Oh, I've moved!

Come and follow me on this adventure I'm taking.
I've uprooted myself from North Hollywood, CA to be transplanted here, a quaint small town called Anacortes in upstate Washington. Here - where the population is tight, where you can count the number of stoplights on one hand and where I was taken in with open arms.

From an eccentric overpriced metropolitan city to an old fishing town in the Pacific Northwest, my life is totally apt for some changes. My move is sudden and unplanned and a little crazy, but I'm more than ready to dive in to this whole new big thing. Blame it on the economy, blame it on bad breakups, on a quest for higher education, on just new beginnings in general. Whatever the reason for my being here, Im ready to embrace it for all it is.

So with that, I packed up the Ranger, said goodbye to my amazing friends, and waved sayonara to Southern California with my cactus garden (quite carefully!) tucked under one arm.

And now I'm off to immerse myself in every aspect of this "Evergreen State!" Im diving in with both feet and taking on every thing I can: hikes, crafts, Canada, local cuisine, local farms, family bonding, family fighting, camping trips, dorky seminars, anything!

I want to use this time in my life to be so open and accepting of any adventure, of any fun opportunity that crosses my path, broadens my mind and enlivens my spirit during this kind of dark, weird transition-y time period. And I want to share it with all those people I was so sad to leave behind - I want to keep up and compare stories, let you know all the silly things I'm getting into and hope to hear about your adventures in return :)
