Mothers Day

One of the first festivities since my arrival back at my family home, was all of us siblings coming together and creating a bit of a celebration for the woman that created us. Not only do we all love her dearly, but she also ingrained in us a love for being the hostess, for throwing parties, and for any sort of celebration in general!

Together, we put our efforts towards an English afternoon tea complete with a ton of decorations and plenty of food. Like, too much food. But it was fun! Oh, and a surprise ;) Surprises make everything much more exciting, always. 

So my sister-in-law, Jessica and I went to town on arts and crafts, my sister Kim and I drafted the most cutesy, dorky menu we could conceive of, and then I wrangled in my dear brother Will for all the manual labor and sous chef-ing this would require. We were like a star studded crew.
